The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust is a small, flexible charity, established in 1977 to honour to memory of a famous Naturalist, David Leslie William Sheldrick MBE, the founder Warden of Tsavo East National Park in Kenya, where he served from its inception in 1948 until his transfer to Nairobi in 1976 to head the Planning Unit of the newly created Wildlife Conservation & Management Department. David died 6 months later but his legacy of excellence and the systems he installed for the management of Tsavo and wildlife generally in Kenya, particularly in the sphere of wildlife husbandry and ethics, lives on.

Congratulations to Sarah Jessica Parker & Matthew Broderick

by Rachel on Jun 25th, 2009 • Uncategorized • Comments: 0

I just wanted to give a congratulations to Kristin’s Sex and the City co-star and off-screen friends, Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick. The couple welcomed twin daughters via surrogate.

A publicist for Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick says a woman carrying twins for the couple has given birth to healthy girls.

Publicist Simon Halls says the girls were born Monday afternoon at an Ohio hospital. He would not specify the hospital or city. Halls says that Marion Loretta Elwell Broderick weighed 5 pounds and 11 ounces, and that Tabitha Hodge Broderick weighed 6 pounds.

Parker, the 44-year-old star of the TV show and film “Sex and the City,” and Broderick, her 47-year-old husband and fellow actor, had confirmed they were expecting twin daughters by a surrogate. They were unable to conceive since Parker gave birth to a son who is now 6.

“Sex and the City” Vs. The Recession

by Rachel on Jun 25th, 2009 • 'Sex and the City', News • Comments: 0

The words “budget” and “recession” aren’t in Carrie Bradshaw’s vocabulary, which is why the Sex and the City sequel will feature the girls looking just as “fabulous and flamboyant” as ever.

Sarah Jessica Parker had recently claimed that her character’s wardrobe would be altered to be more “recession friendly” but SATC stylist Patricia Field won’t have that kind of nonsense.

Field said: “I wouldn’t do it. Of course the four girls are going to be fabulous and flamboyant – otherwise what is the point? I want to do it the other way. I’d be like, ‘Forget your troubles.’ I don’t use the recession as a reference for my creativity.”

SJP said it would be “inappropriate” to showcase the designer clothes the show became famous for, but everyone else disagreed.

She said: “Carrie will have been affected and she’s not an idiot. She’s gonna have to change from thinking about indulgence.”

SATC is an escape for women. We’re not idiots, we know hardly anyone can afford to buy a new pair of Manolo Blahniks and Louboutins every month, especially during these hard times, but we don’t want to pay $12 to go to the theater and be reminded that we have to be on a budget.

“Sex and The City” Sequel

by Rachel on Jun 24th, 2009 • 'Sex and the City' • Comments: 0

If you want details on the “Sex and The City” ladies, it looks like you’ll have to wait. In order to prevent leaks on the greatly anticipated Sex and the City movie sequel, five scripts have been floating around, each with different plot lines.

They are not gonna make this easy on us! According to Us Weekly, there is version where Carrie and Big have a baby and another in which he leaves her.

Kristin’s Reaction to Hairspray

by Rachel on Jun 20th, 2009 • 'Sex and the City', Kristin • Comments: 0

Kristin Davis suffered an allergic reaction to hairspray on the ‘Sex and the City’ movie set. The 44-year-old actress broke out in a nasty rash after a stylist sprayed the holding product on the bottom of her dress to keep it in place during one scene.

She said: “We often stand in a line, and their hair people would come over. The other hair people don’t tell you when they’re about to spray. Every exposed part of my skin to the end of my dress had a rash! So I had to say, ‘Please warn me so that I can step out of the cloud, because I can’t get a hold of it!’ ”

Kristin, who is a spokesperson for skin care brand AHAVA, was filming Carrie Bradshaw’s wedding scenes when she suffered the itchy reaction. However, cosmetic artists managed to cover up her red blotchy skin with make-up before cameras began rolling.

Kristin and her co-stars – Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon – will soon reunite to start filming another big screen version of the hit US TV show.

The brunette star has refused to reveal any plot details, but promises fans will love the new movie. Kristin – who will reprise her role as Charlotte York Goldenblatt – said: “I know the ideas, but, you know, I can’t tell you the ideas. But I know the ideas overall, and it’s very, very exciting. And any time we get to work together, we’re so lucky and so happy.”

Welcome back to

by Rachel on May 28th, 2009 • Website • Comments: 0

The hiatus only lasted 8 days! I knew it would be short because I adore Kristin too much not to keep this site going! I’ve made a new layout for the site. This time I went with my favorite photoshoot of Kristin. In a bit I will be upgrading all scripts on this site including installing a script for affiliates. I will also bring the gallery up-to-date with the latest events. There is much work to be done there. I really hope that you like the new layout. Please leave a comment to let me know what you think!

Well, I am finally back. I had no internet access for almost 2 months. I have some bad news however. I have decided to put this site on a hiatus until I can decide what I want to do with it. Don’t worry I am not closing it right now. You can still view what is here. I have just had no motivation for this site. I still adore Kristin and her work. Hopefully the hiatus won’t last long.
