Omid Djalili has revealed that the cast of Sex And The City frequently upset director Michael Patrick King. Djalili, whose new movie The Infidel opens in the UK on April 9, told DS that Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon’s constant chatting was a source of frustration for King:

“I was alone with the girls for a week, so that was exciting,” said Djalili, who stars as Mr Safir in the sequel. “They get on so well that actually the director got angry with them a few times because they just kept yapping together. He would say, ‘If you’re not going to come on set there’s no point!’. He got very upset with them.”
