The aging stars of “Sex and the City” are filming their last two movies back-to-back to ensure they look as young as possible, The Sun reported on Wednesday. A sequel to the original “Sex and the City” movie, based on the popular television series, is due out later this year and a source told The Sun that Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, who are all in their 40s as well as Kim Cattrall, 53 are already filming the third and last movie in the series.
Even before she agreed to do the first film, Jessica Parker, who played Carrie Bradshaw in the movie and television series, was worried about reprising her TV role. Speaking in 2006 she said: “I’ve told my agent I’m just too old to play the part again.” Regardless she was persuaded to sign on for the movie, as were her three other co-stars. “‘Sex and the City’ is as much about fashion – and how Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte look – as it is about the plot,” the source said. |
