Indian music maestro A R Rahman’s song “Na na” from the film Couples Retreat has been shortlisted for nomination in original song category for the 82nd Academy Awards. It will be competing with 62 other songs from eligible feature-length motion pictures for nomination, which will be announced on February 2. Na na was penned by double Oscar winner Rahman, Blaaze and Vivian Chaix and crooned by Rahman, Blaaze, Chaix, A.R. Ameen (Rahman’s son), Clinton and Dominic.

Directed by Emmy nominated Peter Billingsley, Couples Retreat stars Vince Vaughn, Jason Bateman, Jon Favreau, Faizon Love, Kristen Bell, Kali Hawk, Malin Akerman and Kristin Davis. Couples Retreat will be released on DVD, February 9th, 2010.
