At the Toyko premiere of the critically savaged Sex and the City 2, Sarah Jessica Parker said she hopes “Carrie will live on.” And why not, when the movies pay out better than most winning Powerball tickets. SJP is reported to have earned $30M for SATC 2 and that number could rise to $50M if it shakes off somewhat slow ticket sales, which it appears to be doing.

There is one big kink in Parker’s plan, however. Rumors that SATC 3 could be a prequel are floating around, with Miley Cyrus playing a younq Carrie Bradshaw, and she’s excited, saying, “I’d totally do it. I would die, it would be so cool.” Like, awesome! Where this would leave Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon is unclear, but it doesn’t look good.
