Sarah Jessica Parker has enjoyed a steady stream of roles since making Sex and the City’s Carrie Bradshaw an icon, but she said in a new interview that she’d be on board for a third movie in the series. Kristin Davis told us she thought another was unlikely, but SJP isn’t ruling it out. She said:
“I would go back. I think there’s one more story to tell. I know there is. I’d definitely tell that [third] story, and I know Michael [Patrick King, writer and director] would do it right. But maybe not now. Maybe in five years, you know?”

Kim Cattrall Says “She Misses the SATC Girls”
by Rachel on Jan 28th, 2011 • Categories: 'Sex and the City', News, Projects • Comments: 0
Kim Cattrall has admitted that she misses spending time with her Sex And The City co-stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis.
The actress, who played man-eater Samantha Jones on the series, told Extra that she hasn’t seen her three co-stars in quite some time, adding: “I miss the girls.”
Cattrall further explained that she is unsure if Sex And The City will be revived for a third feature film because all four actresses are pursuing other projects.
“We’ve all been so busy since the show ended, privately and professionally,” she said.
Sex And The City ran for six seasons on HBO before spawning a big screen continuation in 2008 and last year’s sequel. Last fall, Cattrall’s castmate Davis stated that there are no current plans to film a third movie. (Source)

“There are no plans that I know of, but I would love to do a third film,” contactmusic quoted Davis as saying. “We all want to do it, I guess it’s just figuring out whether it’s the right thing to do and if we can move the characters forward anymore.”

Kristin Not Ruling Out 3rd “SATC” Film
by Rachel on Oct 28th, 2010 • Categories: 'Sex and the City', Kristin, News • Comments: 0
There may not be a script for a third “Sex in the City” movie, but Kristin Davis won’t necessarily rule out another film. “Sex and the City 2,” the second movie about four stylish, single New York women prowling for men, turned in a disappointing performance after its opening earlier this year and was panned by many critics.
“As far as I know, we have no script for the third,” Davis said, when asked if another cinematic romp for the four friends — Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda and Samantha — was in the offing. “But I would never say never. We’d be thrilled if it happened.”
Davis, in Seoul to take part in the opening of a clinic, is set to return to TV soon in a vastly different role — “The Happiness Project,” based on a memoir by Gretchen Rubin, a former law clerk to Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor, about her year-long journey to make herself happier. Two years have passed since Carrie Bradshaw finally bagged John “Mr. Big” Preston, the man she was always meant to be with. Just as her friend Charlotte must deal with her young daughter’s “terrible two’s”, Carrie must deal with her relationship taking a turn for the worse – Big likes to watch old black-and-white movies on TV and eat take-out food, which prevents Carrie from feeling like the free-wheeling party girl she used to be. Meanwhile, Miranda copes with a new boss that can’t handle an intelligent, powerful woman, and Samantha works a public relations angle that gets the fashionable foursome an all-expense-paid trip to Abu Dhabi.

“Sex and the City” Franchise is Dead Says Mr. Big
by Rachel on Sep 23rd, 2010 • Categories: 'Sex and the City', News, Projects • Comments: 0
We hope he’s kidding, but Chris Noth went on a rant last night at the premiere of Jack Goes Boating about his thoughts on Sex and the City that lead to his conclusion that “the franchise is dead.” Although he isn’t in Philip Seymour Hoffman’s directorial debut, Chris spoke with New York Magazine and shared his thoughts on Sex and the City.
“It’s over. The franchise is dead,” Chris said. “The press killed it. Your magazine f***ing killed it. New York Magazine. It’s like all the critics got together and said, ‘This franchise must die.’ Because they all had the exact same review. It’s like they didn’t see the movie. Got any more gum?”
And, yes, Chris really did then ask for a piece of gum. So perhaps that means he was just kidding around, but there sounds like there may be some hurt with how Sex and the City 2 did in the box office. (Source)
