The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust is a small, flexible charity, established in 1977 to honour to memory of a famous Naturalist, David Leslie William Sheldrick MBE, the founder Warden of Tsavo East National Park in Kenya, where he served from its inception in 1948 until his transfer to Nairobi in 1976 to head the Planning Unit of the newly created Wildlife Conservation & Management Department. David died 6 months later but his legacy of excellence and the systems he installed for the management of Tsavo and wildlife generally in Kenya, particularly in the sphere of wildlife husbandry and ethics, lives on. The 2011 Razzie Awards, acknowledging the “worst” in film were announced today. As per usual, none of the winners were on hand to accept their awards. To my dismay, Sex and the City 2 received three ‘awards.’

That makes two of ’em. First Sarah Jessica Parker let it be known that she doesn’t think the idea of a rumored Sex and the City prequel is such a hot idea. Now her co-star on the big and small screen, Kristin Davis, has joined her in putting down the rumored project.
“Not so into the prequel movie,” she told E! Online. “Because we’re us and we’ve discussed our history in the show already so for all of our fervent fans who listen to what we say, why would we rewrite that? And then have like different people with our names? It’s kind of freaky.”
Earlier this month, reports suggested that studio execs were discussing an adaptation of The Carrie Diaries, Candace Bushnell’s 2010 novel that follows Carrie Bradshaw before she arrived in the Big Apple. Writer/director Michael Patrick King was said to be eying Blake Lively to take on the Bradshaw role in what was described as not an ’80s flashback flick, but a more contemporary vision of the character’s younger selves. Lively has since denied she’d be starring in the film.
While the first “Sex and the City” movie became an international smash hit in 2008, grossing over $400 million at the worldwide box office, last summer’s follow-up ended up a critical punching bag and failed to cross the $100 million mark domestically. Nonetheless, Parker and Davis are holding out hope for a third film.
“I don’t think we can pretend to go back. It’s creating two histories,” Parker told the Los Angeles Times of the prequel idea, but added of a third film featuring the established cast, “I think there’s one more story to tell. I know there is.”
Said Davis, “I’m always hopeful, and I always believe there’s another story to tell because these are these women’s lives, so why wouldn’t there be another chapter. [But] I don’t know if it will happen.”
Sarah Jessica Parker has enjoyed a steady stream of roles since making Sex and the City’s Carrie Bradshaw an icon, but she said in a new interview that she’d be on board for a third movie in the series. Kristin Davis told us she thought another was unlikely, but SJP isn’t ruling it out. She said:
“I would go back. I think there’s one more story to tell. I know there is. I’d definitely tell that [third] story, and I know Michael [Patrick King, writer and director] would do it right. But maybe not now. Maybe in five years, you know?”

Kim Cattrall has admitted that she misses spending time with her Sex And The City co-stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis.
The actress, who played man-eater Samantha Jones on the series, told Extra that she hasn’t seen her three co-stars in quite some time, adding: “I miss the girls.”
Cattrall further explained that she is unsure if Sex And The City will be revived for a third feature film because all four actresses are pursuing other projects.
“We’ve all been so busy since the show ended, privately and professionally,” she said.
Sex And The City ran for six seasons on HBO before spawning a big screen continuation in 2008 and last year’s sequel. Last fall, Cattrall’s castmate Davis stated that there are no current plans to film a third movie. (Source)

Actress Kristin Davis, who played the role of Charlotte York Goldenblatt in the “Sex and the City” TV series and it’s two movies, has revealed that she would love to be a part of the third movie if it is made.
“There are no plans that I know of, but I would love to do a third film,” contactmusic quoted Davis as saying. “We all want to do it, I guess it’s just figuring out whether it’s the right thing to do and if we can move the characters forward anymore.”

There may not be a script for a third “Sex in the City” movie, but Kristin Davis won’t necessarily rule out another film. “Sex and the City 2,” the second movie about four stylish, single New York women prowling for men, turned in a disappointing performance after its opening earlier this year and was panned by many critics.
“As far as I know, we have no script for the third,” Davis said, when asked if another cinematic romp for the four friends — Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda and Samantha — was in the offing. “But I would never say never. We’d be thrilled if it happened.”
Davis, in Seoul to take part in the opening of a clinic, is set to return to TV soon in a vastly different role — “The Happiness Project,” based on a memoir by Gretchen Rubin, a former law clerk to Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor, about her year-long journey to make herself happier. Two years have passed since Carrie Bradshaw finally bagged John “Mr. Big” Preston, the man she was always meant to be with. Just as her friend Charlotte must deal with her young daughter’s “terrible two’s”, Carrie must deal with her relationship taking a turn for the worse – Big likes to watch old black-and-white movies on TV and eat take-out food, which prevents Carrie from feeling like the free-wheeling party girl she used to be. Meanwhile, Miranda copes with a new boss that can’t handle an intelligent, powerful woman, and Samantha works a public relations angle that gets the fashionable foursome an all-expense-paid trip to Abu Dhabi.
