Chris Noth (aka: Mr. Big) was caught in a terrifying incident at a Purim party held inside Sony Plaza on Madison Ave in New York City. The Sex And The City actor watched as the building’s glass roof collapsed under the weight of ice and snow and sent shards into the lobby below. The 52-year-old actor was believed to have escaped without injury, although about a dozen people were treated for minor injuries. Four were taken to Roosevelt Hospital. Noth wasn’t the only celebrity inside the building when the incident took place. Two Jersey Shore cast members, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Vinnie Guadagnino, were also partying. (Source) |

A few years ago, Samantha Wills was selling her wares at the Bondi Markets. Now the Australian designer’s jewellery will be on the big screen in Sex and the City 2. The New York-based Wills said an assistant for the film’s costume designer, celebrity stylist Patricia Field, had visited the designer’s team six months ago.
Wills’s label is big in the US, with Rihanna, Eva Mendes, stylist Rachel Zoe, Pink and Kate Hudson spotted wearing her jewellery.

As the release of Sex and The City 2 approaches, John Corbett, who played Carrie’s ex Aidan Shaw and Kyle Machlachlan, who portrayed Charlotte’s ex-husband Trey McDougal, just want to let you know that are NOT going to be in the sequel – unless they’re asked!
Would anyone want to see the return of Trey? |

Don’t expect Sex and the City to end with the upcoming sequel. John Corbett, who played Carrie Bradshaw’s boyfriend Aidan in the HBO series, fully expects the Cosmo-drinking girls to be around for a long, long time.
Although Parker’s character looks to still be with Mr. Big in the sequel (set to premiere May 28), Corbett is still hoping for an opportunity to join in the fun.
Unfortunately for the actor, a rep for New Line Cinema told Us last month that rumors about a third SATC movie are “not true.” (Source) |

Kim Cattrall, who recently appeared in an ad politely asking tourists to visit British Columbia, Canada, says that Sex and the City has single-handily changed the movie industry’s view of women. Cattrall just wrapped up production on Sex and the City 2 and called the franchise “refreshing.”
But being a part of a popular series, both on TV and in film, can take a toll on one’s personal life.

Sarah Jessica Parker may be missing the premiere of “Sex and the City 2″ — and it’s not because the actress is too busy or has better things to do. Carrie Bradshaw’s alter ego has donated her tickets to the event to the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transsexual) cause in an auction for $11,000! Hollywood Life reports that the tickets were auctioned off at the Human Rights Campaign’s 9th annual gala at NYC’s Waldorf Astoria Hotel on Feb. 6. Sarah Jessica was not the only star on hand at the event who took part in the auction. “Ugly Betty” star Michael Urie auctioned off a dinner date with himself (kisses included!). “Real Housewives of New York City” mother hen Jill Zarin and “Project Runway” mentor Tim Gunn donated a joint day of lunch and shopping to the highest bidder. Jill was introduced as “the LGBT community’s favorite housewife” and kicked off the event by expressing her support of the cause. “I can’t stand the fact the LGBT Americans are still being treated like second class citizens,” she declared, garnering cheers and applause from the crowd. Sarah Jessica Parker’s twins won’t be the newest star kids to need a babysitter for the Sex and the City 2 premiere on May 28, but they’ll still be the youngest. Willie Garson, known better as Stanford Blatch in the television and movie series, finalized his adoption of 8-year-old Nathen on Wednesday, People reports. The current White Collar star began the adoption process in October 2007 through the Alliance for Children’s Rights and Westside Children’s Center and started the paperwork to become Nathen’s legal guardian a year ago.
